Andrew was formerly CEO of Manx Healthcare, his PLC and Private sector experience includes several years with Macarthy PLC and also with HealthAid. He has held a variety of senior commercial roles in healthcare and consumer marketing and has been involved with health products since 1981.
He has practical knowledge of both owning and managing Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Retail and Mail-Order companies. At Manx Healthcare he implemented a strategic review followed by a programme of product divestments, acquisitions and developments. In a variety of earlier roles he has undertaken numerous market reviews and business development activity. Working for many years with his own consulting and commercial projects, former clients include Forte Hotels and Pentland Industries.
Particular strength and interest within the Amies team is in the Pharmaceutical, OTC and Natural Health Products sectors
