Lewis Albrighton

Lewis has been extensively involved in acquisitions, disposals, and strategic management in the food sector for the last 20 years.

As head of European Mergers & Acquisitioins for Kraft General Foods, he was responsible for the purchases of Lyon's Coffee, Terry's of York, Callard and Bowser, IQM (Spain), Maruud Norway, and Kenco. Lewis was also involved in the purchase of Jacobs Suchard providing long term in depth analysis and modelling to the negotiation team. Whilst at Kraft he completed many divestures on behalf of Kraft Foods, General Foods and Kraft Jacob Suchards.

Lewis has also conducted detailed strategic reviews on the European Food industry and key industry drivers. Lewis has also chaired the Nielsen Users Committee, given guest lecturers at Manchester Business School and made numerous presentations to conferences on acquisitions, strategic planning and competitive analysis.
