Tim founded Amies International in 1991 and is Managing Director of the firm. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Cassleton Elliott in London and joined the corporate finance team at Morgan Grenfell.
He was a director of Chase Investment Bank, London, in European M&A. This followed many years’ as head of research and a partner of London Stockbrokers, Laurie Milbank & Co. Chase acquired Laurie Milbank in 1986. His role involved coordinating activity with Chase Manhattan offices throughout Western Europe and Scandinavia.
In 1991 Tim founded Amies international. Tim is a non-executive director of HgCapital Trust plc., which is a quoted private equity Investment Trust He was a trustee of World Vision(UK) from 1996 to 2002.
